Test your iPhone speakers by opening the setting app and choose the sound and haptic. Under ringers and alerts, you have to move the slider to the right side. Adjust your ring / silent switch that is also known as a mute switch. It has two positions. When you push the switch towards the back of the device an orange will be appeared and indicate that the switch is settled to a silent mode. You have to push the switch towards the screen for enabling the device. Turn off Do Not Disturb - This mode is used to make the silence of different of many sounds and alerts. By turning it off you won't be able to hear any sound. Go to the settings app and tap on the Do Not Disturb mode then move the slider to the left position.

Adjust Bluetooth settings - if you want to turn off your Bluetooth sound so that the device sounds from the iPhone go to settings and tap on Bluetooth after that you have to move the slider to the off position.

Adjust the volume button while in App -Most of the apps sound volume may be turned too low to hear. Open an app such as music, podcast or anything else and use the hardware volume button on the side of the iPhone to turn up the volume. You can also do that by going to the setting and then go to play. Pause button by moving slider right to increase the volume.
